Signora del Vento, a three-masted sailing ship, was built in Poland in 1962 and has been sailing the northern seas for approximately 30 years. As of the 1990s, the schooner was used as a training ship sailing all over the world. In 2006 she was refitted by Società Italiana di Navigazione (SIN) to make her compliant with the highest security standards required to qualify for registration under the Italian flag and to be listed in the Italian Naval Register.
